Christina Aguilera: A New D.J.

Christina Aguilera, an established music artist, a mother, & a wife has been out of the spotlight since the birth of her son, but she is back with three new ventures!  Her soulful voice has been missing from the music industry today and we are definitely ready for her to comeback!

She is set to launch a new album & a movie she just recently signed on to do with Cher.  Both are set to debut in 2010.  But one of her sooner ventures will be a 24 hr. radio station launched this Friday  on July 31st! A.P.E. Radio is a new venture for many artist.  The title of the station is Artist Personal Experience.  Christina is joined with The Eagles & Weezer on this project, each having their own station as well linked to the A.P.E Radio home page.

"It stands across so many different feels and genres from A Tribe Called Quest to the Beatles to Billie Holiday to Bjork to Black Sabbath, Jay-Z," she said in a phone interview from Los Angeles on Wednesday. 

The station will consist of music, interviews news, her personal commentary & favorite tunes.  The dare to do something different has always been intriguing to me as an artist myself.  I will be listening in to see how this positively effects her career path!
